In partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, the Edmonton Heyoka Healing Society is excited to offer a new program to the indigenous community of Edmonton and surrounding areas.
This program provides:
Direct Support: This includes help with food hampers and hygiene supplies (i.e. masks, disinfectants)
Access to Social Work Support: Our social workers can help support you to problem-solve difficulties that you may be having and connect you to programs that can help you.
Access to Trauma-Based Counselling and healing resources that include: occupational therapy, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine and addictions support.
Access to Cultural Support and Ceremony. We provide both one-on-one support and help bridge connections to community, which is often lost due to intergenerational trauna.
This program is offered free of charge. There is no cost to be involved in our program. Spaces are limited. All supports provided are subject to an intake process.
Call or text (825) 440-0671 if you would like to access our program.
